FAQ's

The Functional Health Institute works with patients suffering from chronic disease as well as patients who have concerns about their weight, performance, or general health.

The initial consultation begins with an extensive health history that includes:

  • A detailed medical history
  • An in-depth exploration of your diet, physical activity, supplements, exposure to environmental toxins, sleep habits, stressors and life-shaping events
  • Determining your health goals
  • Developing a treatment plan to help you work toward those goals in step-wise fashion

It also allows you to assess whether you are an ideal candidate for our program and what you can hope to achieve. Please allow for 60 to 90 minutes for the initial consultation.

We always recommend that you provide our office with your initial questionnaires (NAQ, Neurotransmitter Assessment Form, Metabolic Survey) along with any pertinent paperwork (medical records, bloodwork, etc.) a week before the first consultation so that Dr. Binning has time to go through your file with due diligence.

At this time, we do not accept insurance for our consulting services.

Yes, we are able to successfully help patients from any country and are not limited geographically.

Dr. Binning works as a functional medicine consultant in conjunction with your current health team and is not considered a replacement for your primary care physician.
